This Privacy Policy describes how Axyn ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Axyn AB Testing application (the "App") available on the Shopify App Store.
When you install the App, we collect your Shopify store domain and an access token that allows the App to read and write theme data on your behalf. This is required for the App to function.
The App reads the list of themes installed on your store in order to let you select a champion and challenger for your A/B tests. We store theme IDs and names associated with your store.
The App uses a Shopify Web Pixel to detect when a customer completes a purchase (reaches the order confirmation page). We record an anonymous conversion event tied to the theme variant that was active during that session. We do not collect any personally identifiable information about your customers — no names, email addresses, payment details, or order amounts are stored.
To authenticate your admin session with Shopify, we store a session token in a secure PostgreSQL database. This token is used solely to verify your identity when you interact with the App.

We retain your store's data (theme configurations, conversion counts, and test results) for as long as the App is installed on your store. When you uninstall the App, you may contact us to request deletion of all associated data.
The App is designed to minimise customer data collection. The Web Pixel only fires an anonymous event when a purchase is completed; it does not collect customer names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other personally identifiable information. No customer data is stored in our systems.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit and secure credential management for database access. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to make API calls on your behalf.
